Chick Addiction

One of the most incredible learning adventures I embarked on was taking on backyard chickens. From the moment I picked them up at the feed store or post office, the joy of my days was making sure they had clean water, plenty of food, and of course, mealworms! That first time they recognized the treat I was giving them and began the race through the pine shavings to keep their treasure away from their brooder mates, peeping the most comical warning to, "Keep away!"
